WishSeal ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first and last name. When you add a wishlist item, we store the product URL, title, price, image URL, and retailer name you provide. We also store records of friend connections you initiate or accept.
We use your information solely to provide the WishSeal service: to display your wishlist to people you have connected with, to send and receive friend invitations, and to authenticate your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your wishlist items and name are visible to friends you have mutually connected with inside WishSeal. We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Our backend infrastructure is provided by Supabase and is hosted on AWS in the United States.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all your wishlist items, friend connections, and personal information from our systems.
WishSeal is a mobile app and does not use browser cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
WishSeal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security policies. Access tokens are stored in device memory and in an iOS App Group container accessible only to this app and its share extension.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
